Ladies and Gentlemen Waxing Services
Waxing requires NO SUN EXPOSURE for at least 48 hours before and 24 hours after waxing. Exfoliating or hydroxy-based medications including but not limited to: Retin-A, Renova, Differin and Tazorac are contraindications to waxing. Blood thinners, steroids, skin lighters and oral acne medications such as Accutane are also medications that should prevent you from waxing. If you wax while on these medications, it may result in skin irritation, peeling or hyperpigmentation. Always check with your doctor first.
Length of hair to be waxed must be ¼ inch. If the hair is shorter the wax is possible to not remove it, and if is longer may be really painful!

Recommendations PRIOR to waxing...
Be sure that hair is the proper length: 1/8" on face and 1/4" on legs and body will ensure the best removal. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks of hair growth to ensure a cleaner & longer lasting wax. Avoid the sun for 48 hours before any waxing service. Do not bathe or shower within two hours of your appointment or apply lotion prior to waxing. Take Acetaminophen 1/2 hour prior to your body waxing.
Recommendations AFTER waxing...
Soaps, perfumes or liquid make-up should not be applied for at least 12 hours after a waxing service. Be sure not to expose newly waxed skin to direct sun for at least 24 hours after waxing.
Please note that some treatments cannot be performed under specific health conditions; due to this reason we ask you to complete a questionnaire regarding your health, medication, allergies and life habits, and then to sign a disclosure form prior the treatment.
