New Clients 

During your initial visit, you need to come 15 minutes prior to your appointment and fill out a brief questionnaire. We will respect your privacy. This questionnaire is necessary to choose the correct treatments and products customized for you. Please do not forget to turn off or silence your cell phone while enjoying the serene holistic experience at Jon’Ric International Massage & Wellness Spa Nolensville

Arrival Time 
 
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment so that your session can begin on time. This way the following client is not inconvenienced. Appointment duration will be adjusted for late arrivals at a full fee.
 
Cancellation Policy
 
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored: 

24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. 

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment. We reserve the right to refuse new appointments until the "no-show" appointment was paid in full.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

General User Guide to make your visit go smoothly 

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

This will allow time to check-in, take a comfort break, and change prior to the beginning of your service as well as filling-out a brief intake form

Your arrival time will determine the length of your treatment time, which will end as scheduled so that the next guest may begin promptly.

Robe and towels are provided for all guests.

If you wear contacts, please wear glasses for your appointment or be prepared to take contacts out prior to your appointment.

Please leave your jewelry at home or be prepared to remove jewelry prior to any service.

If you have questions or you feel for any reason you shouldn't receive services, please call with your questions and/or concerns.

Age Requirements for Services

Guest must be 18 yrs. or older to receive a treatment alone. Guests 14 yrs. old may receive a treatment with an adult present in the room and a same gendered as Therapist ONLY.

All facial guests under 18 must have a parent-signed consent form before receiving treatment.

For the comfort and enjoyment of our guest, our studio is free from cell phones, pets and smoking.

During any service please let your practitioner know if you feel any discomfort or would like special attention on a particular area. The best treatments come from honest communication. 

Please inform us of areas of your body which are injured, tense or sore. Also mention allergies, medications, pregnancy or any medical conditions such as implants, medical devices such as pacemakers, high blood pressure, a heart problem, chronic headaches, varicose veins, chemotherapy or recent surgery.

To enjoy the maximum benefit of your therapists will keep conversation to a minimum. You are welcomed to breathe deeply and fully relax during your treatment. Always feel free to speak up if there is anything your therapist can do to make you more comfortable.

Very often, as the body releases tension during a spa treatment, the mind will release emotion. Many people fall asleep during a treatment, an indication that the body and mind are releasing stress and tension. The practitioner will gently wake you if you need to move or it is time to end the treatment. 

Heat, microcurrent or chemical peel treatments are not recommended for those who are pregnant, have high blood pressure, uncontrolled diabetes or are undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

We suggest bringing your own sandals or slippers to wear on the grounds for your comfort.

Etiquette Tips for Men:

Shave before your corrective facial 

To get the full benefits of a facial it is best to give your aesthetician full access to your face.  A clean shave will allow for your entire face to be treated with the same care.  Areas that are prone to irritation from razor burn and ingrown hairs are issues that your aesthetician can treat during your facial.

For relaxation facials shave 24 hours before your facial.

Avoid lotion before waxing 

Applying lotion or body creams before the wax will make it more difficult to remove strip wax.  Skip the heavy moisturizers before a back or chest wax and the whole experience will be a little smoother.  Don’t forget to let your waxing technician know if you are using any ingestible or topical skin medications as these can increase sensitivity to waxing.

Stay out of the sun 

Prolonged exposure to sun can make your skin extra sensitive and can be very dehydrating.  It’s best to avoid harsh sun exposure starting the day before and the day after your treatment.  Remember to always wear sunscreen.

Our prices do not include gratuities. 

Gratuities are an opportunity to acknowledge and express appreciation for your service provider, and generally range from 15%-20% of the price of the service. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please let us know.
